My name is Gabe Capobianchi and I run Precision K-9 Academy in Kerhonkson, NY.
I spent endless hours training sheltered dogs from local humane societies teaching me valuable lessons on K9 behavior.
My interest in especially German Shepherds started about 5 years ago when my brother Mike and I bought a business in the city of Newburgh that I was introduced to Princess.

She was a retired German Shepherd Police dog from Suffolk County. She unfortunatly was retired as a junk yard dog. At first, the most untouchable dog I've ever met. It took me 8 months of feeding her by pushing her food to her with a broomstick. Then one day, she got loose. Afraid she would attack me, I held my breath, as there was no one else around. She sniffed around me went upstairs, looked around, than came back and layed by my side. It was then I realized that she was just misunderstood. From that day on I began researching into dog's and their behaviors. After working with Princess, everytime I went to work she couldnt wait to be by my side.
Unfortunatly the relationship ended too soon as only 5 months later, she died when a mass that had been undetected had ruptured. She died in a blink of an eye.

Thanks to the experience with Princess, I now have the desire to teach people how to live with their dogs so the are not chained to a tree or left behind in a shelter. Now, not only do I do my best in trying to make the breed better, I train my dogs to work and possibly contribute in todays world.
